My subscription to the Galveston daily news began this morning. We got off to a good start. I specified on the phone to the solicitor where I wanted the paper to be thrown, and the delivery boy/man/woman got that right!
The paper is not big, compared to the Houston Chronicle, but it focuses on the news and activity in Galveston County, where I live. The local high school sports events were covered. And the comic strip has a few of my old favorites that are no longer in the Chronicle.
We will have to see how it goes from here, but it was a good beginning.
